 Mission Statement

 

The Hinsdale Swim Club is a competitive age group swimming program offered to residents of District 86, living in the Hinsdale Central attendance area.  HSC offers a program which is designed to address the needs of various levels of swimming ability from novice to the advanced swimmer.

 

At the first organizational meeting 1959, the purpose of the Hinsdale Swim Club was set forth in the mission statement.

"To promote mutual understanding and cooperation among parents, coaches and swimmers for the improvement and progress of competitive swimming and to encourage and develop good sportsmanship, individual integrity and team play."
