Hinsdale Swim Club is proud of the efforts and accomplishments of all of our swimmers and coaches as they each strive to achieve new goals~ whether it is completing a race legally, finishing a gruelling race, or qualifying for a championship level meet. No accomplishment should go unrecognized! The following swimmers should be congratulated for their awesome qualifying swims. The below are listed at the highest level meet in which they will compete.

Patrick Dunlop-Karagianis "PDK" began his swimming career at the age of 8 , the last 4 years swimming with HSC. He recently "retired" after swimming all four years at Hinsdale Central, his Junior and Senior years spent on Varsity. Patrick is excited to attend the University of Michigan's School of Engineering this fall. Patrick has not ruled out Club Swimming for Michigan or possibly playing Club Water Polo.
Adam King
Adam King has been swimming for HSC since he was 8 years old. He was a member of Hinsdale Central Varsity team qualifying for state in 4 events his Senior Year. He is ranked among the 50 fastest freestyle sprinters in Hinsdale Central history! He will be attending the University of Tampa, swimming for the Spartans!

Caitlin Connor Caitlin has been swimming with HSC for over 13 years. She swam varsity at Hinsdale Central and was a 9 time state finalist, a 7 time All American, MVP as a Junior and Senior at HCHS as well as Team Captain her senior year. In addition she holds a Frosh/Soph West Suburban Conference record and 2 HCHS varsity records. Caitlin is attending the University of Missouri and swimming for the Tigers.
Austin Fiascone Austin has been swimming since he was 5 and has been a member of the Hinsdale Swim Club for over 10 years. He was a varsity swimmer at Hinsdale Central. His senior year he was a state finalist, an All-American swimmer and received the Red Devil Spirit Award. Austin swims for the Division I Ute’s at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
Paul Morimoto Paul has been swimming since he was 8. He joined HSC his freshman year of High School. Paul is a Junior at the University of Chicago, where he is a member of the swim team. In his swimming career, Paul has set club records, garnered age group and state meet medals, and been named an All-American and Scholar-All American.
Mike Smith Mike started swimming when he was 5 and for the Hinsdale Swim Club when he was 8. He swam at the varsity level at Hinsdale Central for 4 years. He was a 4-year state qualifier, a 7-time state medal winner, a 3 time MVP, and an 8 time All American. In addition, he was a Hinsdale Central Scholar Athlete, West Suburban Conference Academic Achievement Award winner and Illinois Swimming Association All State Second Team. Mike received a swim scholarship from Division 1 Southern Methodist University where he continues to swim for the Mustangs.
Sean Smith Sean has been swimming for over 9 years, the last 4 with Hinsdale Swim Club. He swam at the varsity level at HC for 4 years. He was a state qualifier, an All American swimmer and a HC Scholar Athlete. In addition he received the West Suburban Conference Academic Achievement Award and he is an Illinois State Scholar, a member of the National Honor Society and a High Honor Student. Sean attends and competes fro Claremont McKenna College in California.
Hinsdale Swim Club has had many finalists in the high school state meet these past years with swimmers going on to swim in college at West Point, Emory, Dartmouth, Princeton, University of Chicago, SMU, Claremont-McKenna, University of Utah, University of Denver, Hope College, and Tufts.
