Annual Swimmer Registration for HSC

 

Hinsdale Swim Club utilizes a simple, online registration system to enroll swimmers for the next swim season. Along with online registration, we are pleased to offer electronic payment processing and online volunteer signup. 

The first day of practice for the 2025-2026 short course season will be Monday, September 8, 2025 or Monday, September 15, 2025, depending on your swimmer's practice group.  Club fees vary depending on your swimmer's group assignment, whether they participate on their high school team and whether the practice group registers for the full year or by individual season.  To review the current registration fees set by the Board of Directors, click here.

Online registration takes about 20 minutes to complete if you read the registration materials in advance.  If you opt to not pre-read materials, waivers, etc., online registration will take roughly 30 minutes. Please note there is no option allowing you to save your work and return to it later once you have begun online registration.

To be prepared for online registration, parents/guardians should:

  • Pre-read the member handbook, waivers, agreements, etc. 
  • Know the name of the practice group for your swimmer (please reach out if you don't have this information).
  • Gather credit card or debit card details for payment of fees for the full swim season. HSC requires that one of these forms of payment be on file in our secure system. Checks will be accepted only for registration fees and must be mailed immediately upon completing registration.
  • Gather health insurance information.
  • Gather all key email addresses for parents/guardians.
  • Gather household information (address, phone numbers, cell phone numbers).
  • Gather emergency contact information (name and phone numbers).

At the completion of online registration, whether you pay by check or credit card, you will be need to store a credit card in your account. Failure to register your swimmer online forfeits your swimmer's spot on the team for next season. 

Members new to USA Swimming will register swimmers with USA Swimming on their own.  HSC will renew the USA Swimming memberships for swimmers who were on the HSC roster in 2024-2025. If you swimmer is transferring from another USA Swimming club, you will need to login to your USA Swimming account and initate a club transfer. Please know that your swimmer cannot participate in practices and meets if they are not a current member of USA Swimming.

Annual volunteer sign up will take place prior to the start of the season. We are pleased to offer online volunteer signups on a first-come, first-served basis.

If Your Swimmer is Transferring from Another USA Swim Team: The transfer process will be done online through USA Swimming, once you have finished registration.
